I’m a journalist, author and broadcaster.

I write and speak about men, mental health and modern life — drawing on my own experiences, long-form reporting and more than two decades in national media.

My work tends to focus on what actually helps: clear thinking, better language and more honest conversations. I’m sceptical of quick fixes and wellbeing jargon, and more interested in how people really live.

I’ve worked in national media for more than two decades, across print, radio and television, including senior editorial roles and long-form projects for the BBC and Channel 4.

Alongside my writing and broadcasting, I work with organisations on thoughtful, evidence-based discussions around mental health, masculinity, workplace culture and communication.

Sessions are conversational rather than performative, often funny, and designed to feel like a shared room rather than a lecture.
