I’m a journalist, author and broadcaster.

I’ve worked in national media for more than two decades, across print, radio and television, including several senior editorial roles with national and international media brands.

I am the author of five published non-fiction books, the last two published by Little, Brown. See my books page for more.

I have written for The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Times, The Sunday Times and The Independent.

I was editor-in-chief of Heat magazine in the noughties.

In a former life, I was a Parliamentary researcher for Harriet Harman, Gordon Brown and Ed Miliband.

I co-host Top Flight Time Machine with Andy Dawson. It goes out five days a week and has, unbelievably, been running for over eight years. It’s strange but some people seem to like it.
